הַמַּבְדִּיל בֵּין קֹדֶשׁ לְחוֹל חַטֹּאתֵינוּ יִמְחוֹל זַרְעֵנוּ וְכַסְפֵּנוּ יַרְבֶּה כַּחוֹל וְכַכּוֹכָבִים בַּלָּיְלָה

He who separates between holy and profane—may He forgive our sins; may our offspring and our wealth increase like the sand and like the stars at night.

יוֹם פָּנָה כְּצֵל תֹּמֶר אֶקְרָא לָאֵל עָלַי גּוֹמֵר יוֹם אֲשֶׁר אָמַר שׁוֹמֵר אָתָא בֹקֶר וְגַם לָיְלָה

The day has turned like a shadow; I will say: I will call to God who accomplishes for me. The day of which the watchman said, 'Morning has come, and also night.'

צִדְקָתְךָ כְּהַר תָּבוֹר עֲלֵי פְשָׁעַי עָבֹר תַּעֲבוֹר כְּיוֹם אֶתְמוֹל כִּי יַעֲבוֹר וְאַשְׁמוּרָה בַּלָּיְלָה

Your righteousness is like Mount Tabor; pass over my transgressions—pass over. Let them pass like yesterday that is gone, and like a watch in the night.

חָלְפָה עוֹנַת מִנְחָתִי מִי יִתֵּן מְנוּחָתִי יָגַעְתִּי בְּאַנְחָתִי אַשְׂחֶה בְּכָל לָיְלָה

The time of my Mincha has passed; who will grant me rest? I am weary with my sighing; I soak my bed every night.

קוֹלִי שִׁמְעָה בַּל יֻנְטָל פְּתַח לִי שַׁעַר הַמְּנוּטָל שֶׁרֹאשִׁי נִמְלָא טָל קְוֻצּוֹתַי רְסִיסֵי לָיְלָה

Hear my voice; let it not be taken away; open for me the locked gate, for my head is filled with dew, my locks with the drops of the night.

הֵעָתֵר נוֹרָא וְאָיוֹם אֲשַׁוֵּעַ תְּנָה פִדְיוֹם בְּנֶשֶׁף בְּעֶרֶב יוֹם בְּאִישׁוֹן לָיְלָה

Be entreated, Awesome and Fearsome; I cry out: grant redemption at dusk, in the evening of the day, in the dead of night.

קְרָאתִיךָ יָהּ הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי אֹרַח חַיִּים תּוֹדִיעֵנִי מִדַּלּוּת תְּבַצְּעֵנִי מִיּוֹם וְעַד לָיְלָה

I have called You, Yah; save me; make known to me the path of life. From destitution deliver me, by day and by night.

טַהֵר טִנּוּף מַעֲשַׂי פֶּן יֹאמְרוּ מַכְעִיסַי אַיֵּה אֱלוֹהַּ עוֹשָׂי נוֹתֵן זְמִירוֹת בַּלָּיְלָה

Purify the filth of my deeds, lest my provokers say: Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night.

נַחְנוּ בְיָדְךָ כַּחוֹמֶר סְלַח נָא עַל קַל וָחוֹמֶר יוֹם לְיוֹם יַבִּיעַ אוֹמֶר וְלַיְלָה לְלָיְלָה

We are in Your hand like clay; forgive, please, for the light and for the grave; day to day pours forth speech, and night to night.

אֵל פּוֹדֶה מִכָּל צָר קְרָאנוּךָ מִן הַמֵּצָר יָדְךָ לֹא תִקְצָר לֹא יוֹם וְלֹא לָיְלָה

God who redeems from every distress, we have called You from the straits; Your hand is not too short—neither by day nor by night.

מִיכָאֵל שַׂר יִשְׂרָאֵל אֵלִיָּהוּ וְגַבְרִיאֵל בֹּאוּ נָא עִם הַגּוֹאֵל קוּמוּ בַּחֲצִי הַלָּיְלָה

Michael, prince of Israel, Elijah and Gabriel, come now with the Redeemer; arise at midnight.

מִימִינֵנוּ מִיכָאֵל וּמִשְּׂמֹאלֵנוּ גַּבְרִיאֵל וְעַל רֹאשֵׁנוּ שְׁכִינַת אֵל בְּכָל יוֹם וּבְכָל לָיְלָה

On our right Michael, and on our left Gabriel, and above our heads the Divine Presence of God, every day and every night.

תְּנָה לָּנוּ שָׁבוּעַ טוֹב רַעֲנָן כְּגַן רָטוֹב וּמֵה' יָבוֹא הַטּוֹב כָּל הַיּוֹם וְכָל הַלָּיְלָה

Grant us a good week, fresh like a watered garden, and from the Lord may goodness come all the day and all the night.

יְבוֹרַךְ הַבַּיִת הַזֶּה מִפִּי נָבִיא וְגַם חוֹזֶה כִּי כֵן יְצַוֶּה אֱלֹהֵינוּ זֶה לְשָׁמְרוֹ יוֹמָם וָלָיְלָה

May this house be blessed by the mouth of a prophet and also a seer, for so our God commands: to guard it by day and by night.

הַמַּבְדִּיל בֵּין מַיִם לְמַיִם יְחַיֵּינוּ מִיּוֹמַיִם יַרְאֵנוּ בְטוּב יְרוּשָׁלַיִם וְלִמְשׁוֹל בַּיּוֹם וּבַלָּיְלָה

He who separates between waters and waters will revive us after two days; may He show us the goodness of Jerusalem, and to rule by day and by night.
