אגדלך אלוהי כל נשמה
ואודך ברוב פחד ואימה
בעומדי תוך קהלך צור לרומם
לך אכרע ואכוף ראש וקומה
I will exalt You, God of every soul,
and I will praise You with great fear and awe.
As I stand within Your assembly, O Rock, to exalt,
to You I will kneel and bend my head and my stature.
רקיעי רום הלא נטה במבטא
והארץ יסדה על בלימה
היוכל איש חקור את סוד יוצרו
ומי הוא זה ברוב פחד ואימה
The lofty firmaments—has He not stretched them by His utterance?
And the earth—He founded it upon nothingness.
Can a man search out the secret of his Maker?
And who is he to do so, amid great fear and awe?
מרומם הוא עלי כל פה ולשון
אשר הפליא ועשה כל בחוכמה
ויתגדל בגוי קדוש ועליון
ויתקדש שמיה רבא בעלמא
He is exalted beyond every mouth and tongue,
who has wrought wonders and made all with wisdom.
May He be magnified among a holy and exalted nation,
and may His great name be sanctified in the world.
