Tel Aviv University offers 3 intensive ulpans per year:

  • Summer Ulpan: starts on August 1. A large course covering all levels — from absolute beginners to very advanced.
  • January Ulpan: lasts 4 weeks during the semester break at the university. Fewer levels are available.
  • June–July Ulpan: also 4 weeks long, intended only for beginners.

Ulpans are open to anyone with a high school diploma.

The university has overseas offices — in New York and Canada. Olim can register either through these offices or through the Israeli office.

The Directorate for Doctors-Olim under the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration runs a specialized medical ulpan for physicians planning to make aliyah within the next two years.

The course focuses on medical terminology necessary for professional work and is taught by qualified instructors specializing in medical Hebrew.

Classes can be held online or in person.
