יום שבתון אין לשכוח זכרו כריח הניחוח יונה מצאה בו מנוח ושם ינוחו יגיעי כח

Day of rest—do not forget. Remember it like a pleasing fragrance. A dove found repose in it, and there the weary in strength will rest.

היום נכבד לבני אמונים זהירים לשמרו אבות ובנים חקוק בשני לוחות אבנים מרוב אונים ואמיץ כח

An honored day for the faithful; fathers and sons are careful to keep it; it is engraved on two stone tablets, with abundant might and steadfast power.

ובאו כולם בברית יחד נעשה ונשמע אמרו כאחד ופתחו וענו ה' אחד ברוך הנותן ליעף כח

And all entered the covenant together; “We will do and we will hear,” they said as one; and they proclaimed, “The Lord is One”; blessed is the One who gives strength to the weary.

דיבר בקדשו בהר המור יום השביעי זכור ושמור וכל פיקודיו יחד לגמור חזק מותניים ואמץ כח

He spoke in His holiness on Mount Moriah: the seventh day—remember and keep; and all His precepts, together to fulfill; gird your loins and be strong in might.

העם אשר נע כצאן תעה יזכור לפקדו בברית ושבועה לבל יעבור בם מקרה רעה כאשר נשבעת על מי נח

The people who moved like a straying flock—may He remember to attend to them in covenant and oath, so that no misfortune pass among them, as You swore concerning the waters of Noah.
