I find myself on the seashore
A prayer breaks forth from there
Open Your hand even when my heart is closed
I will sing to You with a broken voice
A star falls into the sea
Silence wells up from there
When footprints vanish within the sand
I will thank You with a loud voice
I am the poor one, and You have given me a free gift
I am Yours, and I stand before You
I am the poor one standing at the doorway, ashamed
I am Yours, and I hold Your hand and do not know my soul—my own—before You
How shall I tell You my gratitude to You, my God, my God
The sea is always open
A prayer breaks forth from there
Open Your hand even when my heart is closed
I will sing to You with a broken voice
I am the poor one, and You have given me a free gift
I am Yours, and I stand before You
I am the poor one standing at the doorway, ashamed
I am Yours, and I hold Your hand and do not know my soul—my own—before You
How shall I tell You my gratitude to You, my God, my God
And the heart longs for the melody of the Father
Who is the man who desires life
When I cry, I do not know why
The tears flow without words
I am the poor one, and You have given me a free gift
I am Yours, and I stand before You
I am the poor one standing at the doorway, ashamed
I am Yours, and I hold Your hand and do not know my soul—my own—before You
How shall I tell You — I am all Yours
