בן אדם, התחיינה העצמות האלה ויאמר אליו ה' אלוקים, אתה ידעת כה אמר ה' אלוקים לעצמות האלה הנה אני מביא בכם רוח וחייתם

Son of man, will these bones live? And the Lord God said to him, You know. Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will bring breath into you, and you shall live.

ויהי קול כהנבאו והנה רעש ותקרבו עצמות עצם אל עצמו והנה גידים עליהם ובשר עלה ויקרם עליהם עור מלמעלה ורוח אין בהם

And there was a sound as I prophesied, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone; and, behold, sinews were upon them, and flesh grew, and they were covered; skin was over them from above, but there was no breath in them.

ותבוא בהם הרוח יעמדו על רגליהם חיל גדול מאוד מאוד מקברותיהם העצמות האלה כל בית ישראל ואז תוכל לראות את הפנים כולן את מי שלא ראית מאז ומעולם את אברהם ואת שרה, חוה ואדם את כל מי שהתגעגעת אליו כל כך

And the breath came into them, and they stood upon their feet, an exceedingly, exceedingly great army, from their graves. These bones are the whole house of Israel. And then you will be able to see all the faces, those whom you have never seen, Abraham and Sarah, Eve and Adam, all whom you longed for so much.

ויאמר הנבא הנבא אל הרוח הנבא בן אדם כה אמר ה' אלוקים מארבע רוחות בואי הרוח מארבע רוחות בואי ופחי בהרוגים

And He said: Prophesy, prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man. Thus says the Lord God: From the four winds, come, O breath; from the four winds come and breathe upon the slain.
