שִׂישׂוּ וְשִׂמְחוּ בְּשִׂמְחַת חַג מַחֲאוּ כַּפַּיִם נַגְּנוּ וְשִׁירוּ בְּקוֹל חָזָק וּבִמְצִלְתַּיִם יָד אֶל יָד, כֻּלָּנוּ כְּאֶחָד פֹּה בַּסַּךְ נַעֲבֹרָה שֶׁבַחַ לָאֵל כִּי לְיִשְׂרָאֵל הָיְתָה שִׂמְחָה וְאוֹרָה

Rejoice and be glad in the joy of the festival Clap your hands Play and sing with a strong voice And with cymbals Hand in hand, all of us as one Here, with the throng, we shall pass Praise to God, for Israel had joy and light
