הם מסתירים את אלוהים
עם השקרים והזקן
והם עושים אותו כל כך קטן
They hide God
with lies and a beard,
and make Him so small
הם חושבים שהוא אוהב אותם
אבל הוא לא צריך אותם בכלל
כי אם אלוהים היה צריך אותם
אז הוא היה האל הכי אומלל
They think that He loves them
but He doesn't need them at all
for if God needed them
then He would be the most miserable god
וכשהוא רואה אותם משתוללים וצועקים: אוי, ויי!
אז לפעמים הוא מתבייש, שהוא אדוני
And when He sees them running wild and shouting: oy vey!
then sometimes He is ashamed that He is the Lord
הם סוחטים ממנו אהבה
יורקים על הרצפה ומשקרים
בשמו הם עושים כל דבר תועבה
והוא לא מבין למה הם מחכים
They wring love from Him,
spit on the floor and lie,
in His name they do every abomination,
and He doesn't understand what they're waiting for
הם חושבים שהוא אוהב אותם
והוא מביט מעל, אל השקיעה
ומצטער שהוא ברא אותם
כי הם מקלקלים את הבריאה
They think that He loves them,
and He looks from above, at the sunset,
and regrets that He created them,
because they spoil the creation
והוא רואה אותם משתוללים ומשקרים בשמו
אז לפעמים מתחשק לו להחריב את עמו
And He sees them running wild and lying in His name,
so sometimes He feels like destroying His people
אולי זו הסיבה שהרבה אנשים בריאים
עוזבים את הדת
וחוזרים לאלוהים
Maybe that's the reason that many sane people
leave religion
and return to God
